Our cruise begins in Miami to San Diego. We will need a shuttle from the Fort Lauderdale Airport to the Port of Miami to our Cruise ship. We dock in San Diego and will most likely meet up with Brian & Nicole. We will either drive back to LA with them or go on the train. We have booked a hotel for the night of May 15th (Fri.) at the La Quinta near LAX.
This is the Disney Wonder that we will be sailing on. It has 11 public decks and can accommodate 2,400 passengers. That is way too many people but they will be divided among the 11 decks which hopefully will help. It seems that it offers lots for all age groups and from what we have read-Disney does a good job of entertaining the younger crowd. Who would have guessed that?
We are excited to engage in a new experience with The Disney Cruise Line. It should be interesting as well as a lot of fun.
